Стаття «Іван Хорват як очільник Нової Сербії у сучасній британській та американській історіографії» // Антон Ганул

The article attempts to analyze the achєvements of British and American historians over the last fifty years, which illuminate activitєs of Ivan Horvat as a leader of the Serbian resettlement to the territory of modern Ukraine in the middle, of the 18th century. The focus of the analysis is given on the works on the topic of the Russian Empire’s expansionism and colonization of the Eurasian Steppe. We explore the context in which Western scholars disclose the events related to the resettlement of Balkan people to the Ukrainian lands, creation of military-administrative area New Serbia and Horvat’s participation in its organization.
