The article reveals and analyzes the differences between the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and other churches, especially the Russian Orthodox Church, which have been historically since the baptism of Ukraine. Special attention is paid to such features as 1) differences between the Ukrainian and Moscow churches in the understanding of certain sacraments; 2) differences in rites; 3) the difference in worship; 4) the church services inherent in the Ukrainian Church; 5) language differences; 6) external differences; 7) differences in the sacred art, and especially 8) the Conciliar pravnist of the Ukrainian Church in contrast to the authoritarianism of the Moscow Church. The author also shows the Ukrainian Church open to dialogue, first of all with the Catholic, Western Church.
